Meet Erica Church

Erica grew up in Los Angeles and began dancing when she was 5 years old. Her training in ballet, jazz, modern dance, and gymnastics started at the age of 8 years old. Later, Erica’s dance education continued at the Edge Performing Arts Center, Dance Arts Academy, and the Hollywood Dance Center. As a dancer, she performed with The Movement Company and Caribbean Spectacular dance companies for several years. Erica is also an alumna of the Los Angeles Theatre Academy where she studied theatre arts and performed in a variety of plays. Erica began teaching ballet, jazz, creative movement, and gymnastics to children in 2001. She continued teaching and creating choreography for children and teens for over 15 years. In 2016, Erica became a certified as a classical Pilates instructor through the Equinox Pilates Institute.

We want each of our students to become the best dancer they can be while also relieving stress and muscular tension. Elevate Dance is a dance program that offers a variety of dance classes to help elevate your mind, body and spirit. Our program provides in-person and virtual private and group classes for adults and children of all ages and skill levels. Our classes are designed to increase flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, focus, and confidence. We are passionate about encouraging students to discover the joy of dance, explore their creativity, and inspire them to achieve artistic excellence.
